Al Bellagio, per il Main Event del prestigioso WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic, tutti aspettavano Jean-Robert Bellande (decimo) ma alla fine, nella volata verso il final table, è spuntata la testa del chipleader Dan Smith. A fargli compagnia anche il poker pro Joe Serock.
Ma i riflettori erano soprattutto puntati sull’High Roller da 100.000$ che ha visto Brian Rast primeggiare su un vecchio maestro come Erik Seidel. Rast incassa un mega assegno da oltre un milione di dollari.
Rimangono a bocca asciutta Justin Bonomo (6°), Marvin Rettenmaier (7°) e Antonio Esfandiari (8°). Hanno partecipato anche Joseph Cheong, Dan Perper, Ben Lamb, Benjamin Tollerene, Jason Koon e Doug Polk. Questo il payout del super evento del Bellagio, targato World Poker Tour:
