Poker onlineIeri sera, all'Hippodrome di Londra, un parterre de roi ha partecipato ai British Poker Awards, i premi più prestigiosi dell'industria pokeristica britannica. Un personaggio su tutti ha meritatamente ottenuto le luci della ribalta: Vicky Coren.
La quinta edizione è stata infatti monopolizzata dalla fortissima giocatrice inglese, che si è portata a casa ben tre premi in una volta sola, che si vanno aggiungere ad altri tre vinti in totale nelle precedenti quattro edizioni.
La Coren si è aggiudicata la 'statuetta' come Best Social Media User, come Poker Personality of the Year e come Performance of the Year. Quest'ultimo premio si riferisce ovviamente alla sua vittoria all'EPT Sanremo 2014, evento che gli ha permesso di conquistare il secondo titolo EPT in carriera, obiettivo mai raggiunto da nessun altro giocatore.
Due premi per Simon Deadman e Chris Moorman. Quest'ultimo ha vinto per l'ennesima volta il titolo di Best Online Player: da quando esistono i British Poker Awards, 'moorman1' ha sempre conquistato questa categoria. Per lui anche il Players Player of the Year, premio attribuito dagli stessi giocatori.
Per quanto riguarda Deadman, grande protagonista alle WSOP 2015, sono arrivate le affermazioni nelle categorie Best Breakout Player e Best Live Poker Player. Soddisfazione anche per Daniel Negreanu, premiato come Best International Player.
