Poker liveDopo le canoniche settimane di attesa, ecco finalmente il calendario ufficiale delle WSOP 2022. Il sito dei campionati del mondo di poker ha da poco diffuso il programma della 53esima edizione, la prima fuori dal Rio dopo 17 anni, e che verrà ospitata dal Bally's e dal Paris, sulla celebre Strip di Las Vegas. Andiamo a vedere tutti gli eventi, i punti di maggior interesse e le novità.

WSOP 2022: 103 i braccialetti in palio!
Il primo numero a saltare all'occhio è quello dei braccialetti che questa edizione metterà in palio. Tra gli eventi live (89) e quelli online (14) saranno ben 103 i braccialetti da campione del mondo assegnati. Per la prima volta si supera dunque la soglia "psicologica" dei 100 braccialetti, circostanza che era comunque ampiamente nell'aria, visto che nelle WSOP 2021 i braccialetti erano stati in totale 99.
World Series Of Poker 2022: le novità
Oltre naturalmente alla nuova (e sdoppiata) location, ci sono diverse novità nel calendario. Vediamo le principali, ma la prima l'avevamo già annunciata: Vince Vaughn come nuovo Master of Ceremonies. Queste invece sono le new entries più rilevanti riguardo ai tornei.
- Mystery Bounty da 1.000.000$: Qualche giorno fa vi raccontavamo di questa formula che è in arrivo all'EPT Praga del prossimo marzo. Era prevedibile che anche le WSOP non volessero “farsi parlare dietro”. Ecco allora la bomba clamorosa: il 2 luglio parte questo event #68, Million Dollar Bounty da 1.000$ di buy-in e che, nel corso del torneo, distribuirà taglie a sorpresa fino alla fantasmagorica quota di 1 milione di dollari! Più avanti ci soffermeremo sulle regole di questo inedito torneo.
- 100k High Roller Bounty: sempre all'insegna della formula KO, ma classica, uno dei nuovi eventi più esclusivi. Parliamo del 100k HR Bounty, in programma come event #2, dunque il primo torneo open della rassegna. Si partirà dunque col botto, vista la prevedibile lista di grandissimi nomi che vi prenderanno parte. E il divertimento sarà assicurato, visto che ogni giocatore avrà sulla testa una taglia da 25.000$...
- Tournament of Champions: in coda a tutti gli eventi ce ne sarà uno speciale, riservato agli 88 che avranno vinto il braccialetto negli altri tornei in palio in questa edizione, ma anche ai vincitori di un gold ring nella attuale stagione del WSOP Circuit. Il torneo avrà dunque field piuttosto ristretto ma un montepremi croccantissimo: 1 milione di dollari!
- 1,979$ Poker Hall Of Fame Bounty: in occasione dell'annuncio dei nuovi membri inclusi nella Poker Hall Of Fame, l'organizzazione ha pensato a questo torneo celebrativo. Si tratta di un evento che avrà un buy-in da 1.979$, come la data in cui venne inaugurata la PHOF. Ogni membro vivente dell'arca della gloria pokeristica vi potrà partecipare gratuitamente, ma sulla sua testa graviterà una taglia corrispondente all'anno in cui è stato/a introdotto/a nella Hall Of Fame.
- Housewarming da 5 milioni garantiti: il primo “riempipista” delle WSOP 2022 sarà questo inedito “housewarming”, da 500$ di buy-in ma con ben 5 milioni garantiti a montepremi. Quattro day 1 e un'affluenza che sarà certamente a 4 zeri.
- Tanti mid stakes in più: nel calendario ufficiale WSOP 2022 ci sono diversi nuovi eventi nella gamma media di buy-in, ovvero quella che va da 2mila a 5mila dollari. Saranno tutti inediti l'event #16 (3.000$ No Limit Hold'em), l'event #49 (2.000$ No Limit Hold'em), l'event #78 (2.500$ No Limit Hold'em).
- Lucky Sevens: torna la formula con tutta la magia del numero 7. Al prezzo di 777$ si giocherà per un primo posto garantito da 777.777$. Anche qui previsti numeri enormi.
Le conferme
Insieme alle novità ci saranno anche tanti tornei confermati. Tra questi tutti i cosiddetti "record breaker" come Millionaire Maker, Monster Stack, Colossus e The Closer. Tutti eventi a basso o bassissimo buy-in, ma dai field oceanici e prizepool da sogno.
Tra le conferme anche il campionato del mondo Heads Up No Limit Hold'em, mantenuto a 25mila dollari e con tetto a 64 giocatori. Sarà lotta durissima.
Confermati anche formati ibridi come il Flip and Go, il Tag Team e i classiconi come Ladies, Seniors e Super Seniors.
Il Main Event
Veniamo adesso al più atteso, il torneo dei sogni per antonomasia: il WSOP Main Event. Inizierà il 3 luglio per concludersi il 16 luglio con la proclamazione del campione che succederà a Koray Aldemir.
