Qui, una 4-bet in bluff va particolarmente bene perché abbiamo dei blockers. In caso di shove, naturalmente foldavo. La maggior parte degli altri giocatori va all-in con QQ+ e AK, e KQ riduce alcune delle combinazioni possibili per questo range: le 6 per AA rimangono inalterate, scendono invece a 3 per KK e QQ mentre per AK passano da 16 a 12. Comunque non possiamo callare con KQ, neanche se sono suited.

In parecchie poker room hanno alzato a 40 BB il minimo per sedersi, quindi gli shortstakers non sono più tanto un problema come una volta. Tuttavia, la mano è presa daPartyPoker e qui si può ancora entrare al tavolo con 20 BB. Chi gioca così in genere punta tutto sulla fold equity, infatti parecchi passano troppo contro di loro. Nel nostro esempio, lui può squezzare con un range molto ampio, probabilmente tutte le coppie e le broadway. Pertanto, pushare per 140 con tutta quella dead money nel piatto è assolutamente obbligatorio secondo me. Credo che possa callare con il top 12% del suo range, ed in tal caso ho il 47% di equity per un easy shove.
